Delay in processing existing applications after the launch of Express Entry??

Will there be a delay in processing the applications which are already under FSW after the launch of Express Entry Program?? Creating more backlogs and increasing the processing time? Or they will be processed on priority?? As I think that more emphasis will be given on the new Express Entry Program. And what if one applies now under FSw can he apply later again under EE??

In my opinion, EE will be independent of the backlogs and will be fast. That's the whole purpose why CIC is bringing this new program.

Also, you are free to apply again to EE irrespective of whether you have applied to FSW 2014 or not.

What do you mean by that exactly?

FSW applications dated prior to 2008 and where no decision had yet been made were canceled when Express Entry was launched. You have to qualify for Express Entry just like anyone else.
