Delay in decision on my application

Dear Bryanna,

My husband applied for TRV on 23 April and got a decision on 7th May that his Visa was refused since the officer was not convinced that he will return back after a short stay. He gave the reasons that he scrutinized the travel history for that. WE realized that there was a missing page in the travel history. He reapplied on 10th May with additional supporting documents. Till now no updates except that of confirmation that IRCC has received the application. He plans to travel on June 9th. Is there way to expedite the decision on his application.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to request for an expedited decision until the estimated processing time has passed. Also, visa offices are currently experiencing a high volume of applications. It wouldn't help to send a CSE after the estimated processing time unless your husband's travel is urgent.

It's not a good idea to book tickets in advance. Hope the flight booking dates can be changed
