Degree Certificate as Proof of English

Hi All,

My wife is applying for citizenship and we were wondering if the degree certificate copy can be used as a proof.

She did Business Management degree in Sri Lanka (from Middlesex university, London UK).

Certificate has the university name and the degree name. Will CIC be satisfied with this?

Also, when she came to canada, she did the Language assessment from YMCA and got 8/10 score.

I am planning to attach both copies.

Please help

If the course was held in English it should not be a problem. I attached final degree copy plus copy of transcript of my course and that was fine.

is language assessment from YMCA in the list of allowed proof for English? if not, then dont attach. as a matter of fact, it will create confusion why you are attaching something that is not asked when clearly she has a degree in English language.

degree certificate, yes definitely attach that. it will work.
