I have default student loan in Vancouver, Canada, for long time and not paying at all. Can I be a sponsor for my wife? Would I be rejected by the CIC. I have not finished my application yet. If it is not ok, I would rather not send it at all. Thanks everyone.

No you will not be rejected for that.. The only things that they would reject for in that matter is if you are claiming bankrupt, you are on goverment assistance( ei excluded) or have outstanding child support.
