I have a question regarding this document. My spouse and I are applying for the outland spousal sponsorship. I was in a common-law relationship that ended back in 2010. We had no house nor car leased together, no children, and we never signed anything legally to declare that we were common-law partners. We filled out taxes together, that was about all that confirmed our union status. My current spouse and I got married in Quebec last October.
My question is: do I really gave to submit this document or does the marriage annul all previous unions?
