Declaration of income of spouse for ccb

Hello friends, need a genuine help. Me and husband came to Canada in 2016 March and became a pr in 2017 August. We have a daughter who is entitled to ccb. And hst benefits. We applied for it and now they are asking for world income before we came to Canada for 2016.my questions are-
1.how do I inform them about income online, do I need any documents?
2. Do we need to submit both our incomes or just spouse?
3.i was working there till March 2016but not in Canada.

Benefits are based on family income. You can't submit just one spouse's income.

Thanks but what form is it, can I submit it online. Besides in India we have form 16for taxpayers do we need to submit that?

Did you receive a letter from them? In the letter, should mention how to provide those info.

Yes yes they have notified me to declare spouse income before he came to Canada but how and through what channel I am. Unable to figure out. Plz help
