Why would decision made be negative?

Applicant found to be inadmissible

Non-genuine relationship with their sponsor

Applicant has misrepresented himself/herself on their application

(as well as a few other reasons I'm sure)

I was just wondering
All the wait is driving me crazy.
I've sent in everything cic wants and the waiting never stops. SA and AOR2 received.
I'm so frustrated I am starting to freak out and believe the worst is gonna happen to me :-(
I'm really feeling like s**t ATM.

No need to add anymore stress to your situation!

If CIC has any doubts, or questions, they will ask you (or the applicant) for more information.
They will NOT simply deny the application without contacting you first!

Thank you, ASantos
I'm really freaking out though :-(
I hope everything is fine!

My wife's application went decision made, on ECAS, before we heard from the embassy and everything was fine. We kind of freaked out too but a few days later she got her passport request. Keep calm, you would have been scheduled for an interview before being denied, you should be getting PPR soon.

That's very encouraging!
Thank you all for sharing your experiences.
It's really nice to know how everyone is doing. it calmed my heart and mind =D

I'm assuming you applied Ottawa?
You are looking at at least 10 months if current wait times are expected. thats 9.5 months of not a peep from the visa office. Better buckle down for the long haul, a lot of people are still waiting from May last year.

And it isn't just ottawa that is average 10 months for great applications, most visa offices take even longer.
London is still not seeing much movement.

I applied Sept 10, 2014 and we are still waiting. I totally understand. Just know that a lot of us are still waiting, you are not alone. Have you looked into those who have applied through your visa office to see what their status is?

I'm with São Paulo VÓ
THeyre taking 8 months to complete stage 2
But people are getting PPR about a month after they get SA
I'm worried because I had to send in RCMP criminal record check and it's been almost 3 moths since I got SA.
Not a very good feeling :-(

Do you have any reason to believe that you will be denied?

Do you have a criminality issue that would make you inadmissible, therefore leading to a refusal?

If not...there's really no point in being afraid. Fear is [usually] nothing more than a Fictional Experience Appearing Real. Why not focus all of your energy on how happy you will be when you have your PR!
