Do you have any reason to believe that you will be denied?

Do you have a criminality issue that would make you inadmissible, therefore leading to a refusal?

If not...there's really no point in being afraid. Fear is [usually] nothing more than a Fictional Experience Appearing Real. Why not focus all of your energy on how happy you will be when you have your PR!

Thank you, Ponga!
No, I don't have any criminal charges and never been arrested.
I don't have any reason to be denied.
it should be a smoother application though.. pretty frustrating all the wait and the whole "staying away from your partner" thingy.

Keep in mind also, when you have to send in documentation they put you back into the pile and work on other apps while you send in stuff. They asked my husband and I for the right to residence fee in December and we never heard another whisper until two weeks ago. You are well within the time line. It isn't until month 7 (since you say your VO says 8 months) that you will likely hear anything.

hi everyone

they started processing my application on april 9th, and now it change to decision made, ¨We sent you a letter on April 21, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us¨.

does it necessarily can mean rejection as a sponsor? the status is the same either if its approve first staged or denied?

Yes, it's the same status.
Since you have nothing to worry about your application, most likely you've been approved.

Medical and police certificate requested or sent already?

Hi Folks,

I am sponsoring my Wife and her portion of the application now says 'Decision Made' as of April 23rd. They also mention online in the status that CIC will contact my Wife with the decision.

Quick Question:

- Given that the decision went to 'decision made' (and this is after her re-medical), how long do you reckon CIC will take to contact her -- assuming if they email her?

Visa office: London, UK
Wife location: Karachi, Pakistan

Both my Wife and I are waiting desperately to hear the good news so I can plan my trip and pick her up :)

Thank you very much in advance.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Second, it will be by mail and I would think not very long. A week or two at the most. If after 2 weeks she has heard nothing she should contact the visa ofice.
But I'd say within a few days! :D
Congratulations again, your long wait is over.

Thank you Ashley,

Hopefully the remainder of the wait is cut short as well -- as they say, its always the end stages which seem the longest :)
I will reply to this this thread once my wife has received her PPR.

Take care and best of luck to you as well.

What CIC requested after my SA got to VO abroad yesterday..
I hope they don't delay too much =(
the anxiety is killing me and my husband

Lately they are so slow to issuing the email. there are at least 20-22 people waiting for email after decision made from last 1 to 6 week. so there is no time frame.

I read that after decision made if approved ircc sends copr and that is sent in the mail I believe if any one knows if that's the case or an email should suffice ..

for inland applicant you first get the email for declaration, then IRCC send credentials for portal to apply PR card. After uploading photo to it , few days later COPR become available on portal to download.

Hi so i got decision made on ecas today
So when i can expect PPR?
timeline (signature)
But new tracker shows inprocess and no update

So since Nov 4th after seeing Decision made on cic ecas site STILL anxiously waiting on what the DECISION is ... it's soo nerve wrecking .. this Friday it will be a full 3 weeks

My Immigration consultant sent out a web form got the generic reply that they are backlogged and will get back to us.

How does one wait wondering what the decision is ..
