Decision made?

Got AOR via email and then site updated to Decision made and Medical recieved but no email. It says they sent a letter. The question is...Do they always let you know the sponsorship approval decision by letter or is it usually email? The suspense is palpable.

Mines a letter (still didn't get it). Just call them . They will tell you.

We received ours by email and that is the way I know the majority do as long as the CIC has your email address.

The one they emailed to us even mentions specifically that a copy will NOT be mailed.

That makes me more nervous that it might be bad news...They send AOR via email so wondering why the decision made is not also an email. Not cool!

I wouldn't be too concerned. I also got AOR by email and sponsorship approval by regular mail. Made no sense to me since they obviously had my email address, but it doesn't mean you have anything to worry about.

Are you the sponsor or the applicant? If they just sent you your AOR (assuming you are the sponsor here) they may have just not sent another email for DM. I am assuming this is the DM on the sponsors side. If you are not the sponsor then you would not get an email about the DM. Only the sponsor would get this. As an applicant the best you can 'hope' for is an email from them letting you know you have been found eligible to apply for permanent residency. This would be known as your AIP.

hello I have a different problem , we received AOR on December but why I didn't received any letter from my visa office manila like all applicant does telling they have their applicant in office no email or snail mail either . its going 6 months now . am sitting on limbo , don't know what to do , didn't phone them too does any one knows the manila visa office phone please . worried now on my situation

I got emailed from manila visa office when I do updated my address .

this is what my ecas said :

Application Received

Permanent Residence
1.We received your application for permanent residence on October 15, 2013.

2.Medical results have been received.
any help please do you think guys they forgot my papers now ,, so I need to start again .. please have anyone in same situation like me .. help please

Everyone that has apps at Manila goes through the samething:
CEM sends no AOR.
You won't hear anything from CEM until PPR or if additional docs required.
Be ready for months on end without any word, unfortunately.
PPR's seem to be coming at 9 to 10 months from the time application received by CIC.
I have exactly same status on E-CAS, except Medicals received. I'm August applicant.

Is a waiting game, plain and simple. Long periods without any word, then all of a sudden everything happens all at once.
Try not to dwell on it, keep as busy as possible. The time passes quicker than you think.I know it is a long wait, but will be worth it in the end.
