hi there… I am hoping to get some input on my case. Today my ECAS changed to "Decision made" after three weeks that the VO received our passports. Below is my timeline, any feedback would be really appreciated:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 10, 2011.

2. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 6, 2011 to ADDRESS. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

3. Medical results have been received. I called the medical office and got my results over the phone and all the tests came negative which the nurse told me is a good medical exam, nothing came wrong.

4. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 5, 2013. On March 21 I received an email from the VO requesting passports, which they were delivered on March 27. In the email VO mentions that it generally takes 2-4 weeks to process.

5. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Does it means I will be getting my passport back with my visa stamped?

Oh great... thank you!!!

We received medical instructions on July the 30th.We had to wait until mid september to do them since my wife was pregnant at that time. On December 10, VO requested medical exams for my son, which were done the same week.

GREAT NEWS!!!! I got my visa today... but still have one question we received the COPRs for me, my wife and my son. However, my son's visa was not on his passport. Only my wife and me have visas stamped on passport. My son was born in the US and has an american passport, I am wondering if it is because of that. can someone pelase advise?

Congratulations and Yes...
Ur son is from visa free country (USA) so he don't need any visa for Canada.. He needs only COPR.. That's it...
