"Decision made..." Nervous

Just checked my ECAS today. This is what it says:

"We started processing xxxxx's application on January 18, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on xxxxxxx's application. The office will contact xxxxxxxx concerning this decision."


Does anybody have the same on E-CAS? I'm really anxious. So difficult, when you don't know what to expect

If there is no reason why they'd reject your application, "decision made" is good news!

Get your other half to hunt through their emails if you supplied an email address on the application. London emails passport requests.

Unfortunately, I haven't put our email in the application - which I regret a lot. It would be easier for me.

I'm wondering if it's possible to contact CIC and provide them with the email at this point?

There's really no point to adding an email, they have more than likely already mailed you a paper request by snail mail. I'd expect it soon

hi i work in middle east. my wife is a candian citizen and sponcered me under spouse sponceship . we received a letter from immgriation canada saying that visa application is approved and the application will be send to sri lanka which is the application processing centre ,and we checked the status.its says " decision made " around November 2009 since that day there was no status updates.

1 )i want to know when is the approx processing time under family sponsceship ?

2) right now if the embassy ask me to attend for a interveiw its not possible cz i live aborad so can i couirer my passport to the embassy for visa stamp ?

when i call embassy for status no response from them .please help.

If your ECAS shows decision made and you have not been requested to attend an interview then you are going to get a Visa.

They will not deny a PR visa request unless they interview the applicant first.

Be happy, thousands are waiting to hear DM.

i want to trade places with DM ppl,, if u have waited for this long for DM, i guess waitig a few more days ie by the end of next week wont kill,

What I will satrt to do now is google for cheap fares and also start preparing my goods to follow list...

I will all the best with the rest of the journey and also stick around guys to wish us a speeady DM

PR in Process and Medicals recvd since 2nd Feb 2010................. so i am waiting and is a killer,, i want a hobby....

thanks for response buddy . im worried can u answer my question no 2. also i heard the embassy keeps the visa process already with them unitl the medical expires . one or two weeks before they just call and say oh u have leave to canada with in weeks time or so .is it true ? my medical is done in first week of July . so i am expecting at the visa to be issed by july . what do u think .

Thanks for all your replies. Just an update on my "Decision Made" - yes, it turned to positive PPR but... we received the letter on February 18 which says that my daughter's visa expires on March 20th and that she must enter Canada on or before this date. It's madness! Her passport hasn't arrived to London yet (it's February 25th) - probably will be there by March 1 or 2nd! We are submitting her passport by mail - so, I'm nervous again... thinking about that there's just not enough time... Don't even know what to do...
