I agree with that. We never know when exactly they send PPR's...

Yes. The agent said the he does not know of any delays and suggested to contact CIO.

The question is where is the application now? It takes Sydney 1 month to reply. And Ottawa has never replied to me before.

So if that's the case, the best to do right now is to wait for our PPR's.

Hi Guys,

I would really like your suggestions in this waiting game. I am travelling to India on 3rd Oct and will be back on Nov 20th. Do you know if the passport request validity of 60 days is serious or not? Do they make exceptions easily to delaying submit of the passport? My visit back home is very important and I am wondering what to do in this regard. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

it's not even like CIC is on a strike or something! This is just pure stupidity and negligence. More days we waste with no PR, more days required to be eligible for applying for Citizenship - long haul I know but that's the ultimate goal...

I can feel your pain. I am also tired of waiting! My status turned to DM since 2nd week of August,
but what else we can do but to wait...

Hi Rb2013,

I would recommend to contact CIC call center right now and explain the situation and ask for advice. So when you receive the PPR you will know the options based on the date.
