Hello Forum,
I just checked e-cas and it say we have made a decision on your application...Here is the thing..we had an interview May 13th 2013 the visa office kept the hubby's passport after the interview...our medicals expire October 29 2013...I also was not told to send a pre-paid envelope for the passport return...here is the question will the extend our medicals until the hubby can land? And how will they return the passport if we did not submit a pre-paid envelope???
Any help will be appreciated!!!
Thank you
waiting

If he was successful at the interview and the only thing holding his visa up would be his expiring medicals, KG can request an extension to allow him to land, rather than putting him through the system again.

Depending on where your spouse lives, they can request that he come to pick up his passport himself. I was given that option because I lived in Kingston (actually right down the same road the embassy is on, so it made no sense for me to get a courier service to collect it).
