Decision Made But Called for Interview !!!! Need Clarification, HELP PLEASE

Hey Guys

I am just confused about one thing. When I check my application status online it shows Decision Made and Medical Received, however I have been called for an interview next week. Why would they call me for an interview if they have already made the decision? Should I be worried? Does it mean they are going to refuse my application. I am really confused.

they might just ask you some few questions and after the interview they will gonna issue your visa....you are so lucky...im happy for you...im deply troubled with my case...i was DM last Oct 4 and when i checked it today,it was changed to IN PROCESS, i was DM for 2 weeks but changed to IN PROCESS today....im sad....huhuhu....would love to hear your opinion...

well i pray that what your are saying is true, and i am really sorry to hear about ur case, but to be honest i have very little experience or knowledge with immigration matters, so i wouldn't happen to know the reason why ur status has been changed. but i wish you all the best and i hope you get ur visa soon. I don't believe you have been thru the whole process from what your saying E-cas says.... Decision Made and Medical Received I believe the Decision Made is for your 1st approval (sponsorship) now that you have entered stage 2 (applicant) you are asked to do an interview before they make a decision on your case...

hi guys i want to know when i check application status the columns which describes in process, decision made, compelte shows in differnt colors whats it mean....? in mmy application satus it shows in process in red color nd desicion made in green color....

the green color is a clickable link, click it, it will tell you what the was made for... if you are the sponsor and have Decision Made then that means you were approved as a sponsor, if you are the applicant and have decision made then that means your application was approved. To me from what you are explaining sounds like my Husbands E-cas and he is my sponsor... so your Decision made was for the sponsorship and the in process is for the primary application. The primary applicant won't ever see decision made as far a sponsorship goes that only goes to the sponsor....

actually my husband in canada nd he have applied my case..it cant be clicked nd it shows in prcessing in red whats it mean...

when your husband goes into his e-cas it will have his name at the top, under his name it will show his address in Canada, under that it says sponsorship application(s), that box is 3 sections the sponsored persons name (you), then sponsorship application status and finally Permanent Residence Application Status, underneath sponsorship application you will get decision made (those 2 words should be a link to another page when clicked the page should say "We received your application to sponsor XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX on XXXXX 25, 2012.
We sent you a letter on XXXX 23, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.") that is usually already there the first time you login to e-cas. under Permanent Residence Application Status will be application received until it goes into process then it will say in process (which is also a link and when clicked should say "We received XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX's application for permanent residence on XXXXX 25, 2012. We started processing XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX's application on XXXXXXX 14, 2012.
Medical results have been received.") once the application is finished it will list decision made that will be the final step but won't read that until the Passport has been stamped and the Visa is issued, you could see this before receiving your passport back tho... cus it is usually changed as soon as it is stamped but may take a few days to make it back to you via mail.

sir if i fill my husband"s date of birth,his surname,it shows nothing bt i fill my information it shows only application received nd medical result received, but other side i got a letter from delhi office required my passport nd i mailed 3 weeks ago.

in order to access your husband file you would need his UCI # it is different from yours... New Delhi request passports at the beginning of the process and they hold on to them until the issue your visa and then mail it back to you...
