bestofluck: Citibank debited my account immediately after issuing the DD.

they debit everyone's account but some banks keep the money with them to earn exchange rates difference. And do not send the money until the Canada bank deposit the DD.

In our case the bank has send the money to Canada bank immediately so it becomes a local DD. My Dd was en cashed on March 14th !!!!!

Hi People, its been a long time!
@bestofluck , at the time of file checking for nomination it is possible that they might do calls. Usually these calls are with the applicant or his employer ??
I am asking because I am currently working with my company on a project and out of the country till the end of this year. Should I do anything ??

They will not call up work place, but may call you on your mobile. They also send email for additional docs.

What is the use of additional documents request?

OINP knows that POF and bank Statemnets are going to be mainatined for IRCC after nomination, still they ask for updated POF
OINP knows work experience added after PT will not matter still ask for 6 months pay slips

I guess I read they ask for 1 year payslips now
