December Application OINP

I am tempted to think along your lines. Jan: 1800, Dec and Feb: roughly 1400 each (just guessing here!) and March: perhaps 1000 (again, a guess!) combined with remaining Sep to Nov applicants: more than at least 1000 to 1500 (another guess!).. The figure is certainly more than 6000! If they issue nominations to All OINP applicants, that'll be quite an achievement, won't it?

BY the time they give AOR's all other applications will be completed. They are already in final decision phase and Second phase up-to December applications. They just need to start giving nominations, they will issue more than they issue AOR;s i.e more than 50 a day. Not necessary all will get nominated, may be some are shifted to February but most of us will get nominations.

You can't.

NB is very specific and clear about it: you can't apply to their program while having a file in process with IRCC or another province- mentioned as exception #1 in their guide

you cannot apply if you have applied to any other immigration program or directly apply to province. Within EE you can apply as many province but can accept only one. there are many who have applied to NB PNP and PEI and other province at a time.

I don't expect much action from OINP in Aug.

As another forum member said, it's end of summer season in Ontario so empoyees taking 2-3 weeks off is pretty normal there.

Last week there were more AOR;s issued than the previous one. Lets hope they continue the same this week.

not sure if 50 a day is a realistic number. This could lead to increase in CRS points cutoff to more than 600 which they would not like to happen.

They said they will increase draw size to 2000 or 2500. And the nominations will be ready so they just have to send them. 50 is just clicking.

I would like to believe in what you said than what i wrote.
We have to take into account that there are 10 other provinces though they would not be having such huge numbers still.

HA HA HA.....And that Dd will expire and they will ask for another one !!! ( if all will pay the same que remains )

We will have a relay race than. collect 500 CAD from 4 people and let one of them Go. than again collect 700 CAD and let the second one go...the 2 of them will pay 2000 for the third one and the 3 of them will than pay for me. ;D ;D ;D

you interpreted in your way. They do tell you cannot accept 2 nominations. anyway...you must do what you believe is true. I still insist you read it carefully what it says

Applications are not accepted from applicants who:

• Have an application in process under another immigration program in Canada;

This says another immigration program......not province. please don't hesitate to apply if you are invited after the session. IF i get invite I will definitely apply

Other program means Family class, Business class...etc.

I repeat this so that other applicants do not interpret wrong.
