1. Confirmation of Submission
2. AOR
3. Fingerprints (only if required)
4. Test Invite
5. Maybe an 'Additional documents request' or something like that (only if required) - not 100% sure but think this happens sometimes.
6. Interview (only if required)
7. Oath invite

For all other updates on various stages (moving to 'in progress' / 'completed') - you need to check the tracker.

when i logged in morning it says, new update. But BG is same- in progress. What does it mean

You will probably see it reflected on the tracker in a couple of days.

I applied on sept 23rd but my application got returned, saying it was incomplete. Reapplied on December 8th.

i - did u also submit the physical presence calculator again ?
My application also got returned saying the IELETS proof i attached is blurred ! this was the same doc i had used when i had applied for PR !

So do i need to just resubmit the IELTS proof or do i need to recaluclate the physical presence calculator and attach the new PDF - there is no change in my physical presence - i have not travelled out of canada since i had applied for citizenship in Dec 2025.

Also does the clock start again in this case or do thy still consider the original submission date when processing ?

It looks very few people have received AORs this week for pending December applications!?

I saw couple of Jan 2026 applicants getting AORs.

How may of us are still awaiting AOR?
