Hello was wondering if bill c12 evaluates citizenship files tough way after bill c12

Hi, I don't know about that. I submitted my citizenship application in August 2025 and got my citizenship 2 weeks ago.

oh do we get fingerprint request? and is it on mail or we see that in tracker too? for me nothing after AOR and tracker shows Inprogress for all 4 stages.

Not everyone will get the fingerprint request.
For me no fingerprint request but my spouse got it.
It comes over the email with fingerprint request letter.

Hi all, I need to do finger prints, which location is better to have your finger prints, Police service or certified RCMP? or the RCMP location by the airport?

I personally haven't needed to do prints, but from what I've read here & online :

• Most go an RCMP accredited company (look for one here : https://rcmp.ca/en/criminal-records...vate-fingerprinting-companies-accredited-rcmp) near you.
• Pick one you like and look up their website for instructions/documents you need to carry.
• They'll do digital fingerprints and all the 'transferring' i.e. Agency > RCMP > IRCC (or however it works behind the scenes) will be handled automatically, without you needing to do anything.

No.

You will only receive emails for :

1. Confirmation of Submission
2. AOR
3. Fingerprints (only if required)
4. Test Invite
5. Maybe an 'Additional documents request' or something like that (only if required) - not 100% sure but think this happens sometimes.
6. Interview (only if required)
7. Oath invite

For all other updates on various stages (moving to 'in progress' / 'completed') - you need to check the tracker.

No email, just logged into the tracker this morning and saw the update.

when i logged in morning it says, new update. But BG is same- in progress. What does it mean??
