Hey guys, how do you get the status info about eligibility, criminality, and security? By call?
My AOR is Dec 18. Medicals passed Jan 22 and on the same day, they've request RCMP.
Then I got this update:

AOR- 5-DEC-2020
BIOMETRIC - Aleady done for WP
MEDICAL - Passed on 20/JAN/2021
ELIGIBILITY CHECK- Recommand passed
CRIMINALITY- Passed
SECURITY- NOT STARTED
VO : OTTAWA
Is this normal to have no updates for a month ? I had the same status a month ago...

Yes, according to me, this is normal, as these days they are taking longer time due to covid

I'm the same as you, nothing has started except for criminality … it's been 4 months but nothing much has moved on file.
My VO is Ottawa , it is well known for slow processing . I assume yours also Ottawa.
My VO is Vancouver, i'm a bit worried that my application would end up in a black hole...
My primary VO is Edmonton and secondary VO is Vancouver too, its being 4 months, nothing is passed after MEP on 19 Jan. Details are in my sign
Is Etobicoke famous for their speed? My Visa Office is Etobicoke too.

I called them and here is the status:

Confirmed Reviewing RCMP - Feb 3
GU - Apr 14
Background check status informed by calling:
Eligibility - in process now
Criminality - cleared out, passed
Security - not started (the agent told it will start once Eligibility is passed)
