Citizens as sponsors are not processed faster if that's what you mean

Hi all,

Have a quick question.

I recently moved so my current address has been changed. However, I used different mailing address since I knew I might have to move. So that, mailing address can stay same. (I am the sponsor)

I saw an option in ECAS where it shows I can change my ‘current address’. Should I change? If so, is there any negative effect on the application at all?

Any experience sharing will be much appreciated.

My account says :
Review of eligibility: we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: Not applicable.
Interview: You do not need an interview l. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: we do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once we come to a decision.
