Curious to know what your travel history was like, and if you had to provide multiple PCCs. Congratulations on the IP2!
I had the same confusion about PCC from FBI. I already initiated to get it for safer side but I got IP2 today so now I am thinking to stop getting it. I had stay of 182 days continuously in USA.

Hi,

I am an FSW applicant (applied from Canada) and my timeline is as follows:

AOR: Dec 7, 2018
Medical Passed: Jan 18, 2019

I received GCMS notes today. According to status on page 2,

Eligibility: Review Required
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

I have shared detailed notes of the analyst. I don't understand which part requires review. I have seen on the forum that 'Review Required' is generally bad and that's why I have become apprehensive. Please help.

According to the analyst notes on pages 122 and 123, the details are as follows:

Hello everyone so basically my dates are as follow:

FSW (out-land) - Lebanese living in Qatar
AOR: 9 Dec 2018
MEP: 19 Jan 2018
Biometrics enrollment: 20 Jan 2018

Profile reads: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." Which is IP2 but I guess it's been at that stage since January.
No Updates since then.

Called IRCC last week. The information I got was that my profile is still within the normal time frame and that I shouldn't worry. Was able to get bit more information:

Medical: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security check: Not started yet
VO: Ottawa

Any feedback? will be crossing the 6 month time frame in 24 days. At this stage I'm really unable to be patient anymore.
Good luck to all of you!

So you had to provide just the one PCC for India? How many trips did you have to report?
I had the same confusion about PCC from FBI. I already initiated to get it for safer side but I got IP2 today so now I am thinking to stop getting it. I had stay of 182 days continuously in USA.

Ask for information on your 'eligibility' the next time you speak to them. Good luck!

Everything in your notes looks good. The case analyst has marked the status as review required, which is just an indication to the immigration officer to review the documents once before making the eligibility as passed.

No need to be worried about, just wait and soon the eligibility will be passed, or may have already been, and then the final security, leading to the PPR.
Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot @Spotted I have removed identifiers from the original message but it still reflects on the instances where it was quoted for response by others. What to do?
Hi Deeptheexplorer,

Sorry I dont know what to do about that.

My understanding is that IRCC/CBSA request information from the authority that declined your visa to corroborate that with your version of why the visa was refused. They want to be satisfied that there isn't more to the story than you have presented, that there wasn't wilful misrepresentation, etc. Of course, this does take time but it can all happen in the background while other parts of your application are being reviewed, so it's hard to say if it actually adds a "delay".

@legalfalcon @derkdsou and others
This query may have been answered before, excuse me for asking again.
Can US visa rejection delay the processing of my application?
