We shall see. You're the same stream as me and only 5 days behind me in both AOR and MEP. If you track along with me, you should receive yours next Monday-Thursday, right? (Depends if you're counting days or business days and giving an extra day)
My AOR is 1 dec .. MEP 11 jan... still in IP1 no changes... I am FSW-Outland from India. Single applicant no travel history..

Do you have a MyImmiTracker case you can link so I can follow you as well, since we have the same AOR and stream?

Does anyone know if they extend validity of medicals if the dates are close to the ppr? I did my medicals in Apr 2018 and they would generally expire this April. I would hate to either miss it and pay for it again or have very few days to move to Canada. Indian citizen living in the US.

If you already had PPR and were waiting for CoPR they might extend it (it's a discretion thing), but given you might not even have PPR by then, I would probably bet on getting an ADR to do another medical. It's already happened to others that had their EOI in for awhile.

I'll raise a question while we are on medicals and extension. As I mentioned before I am on medical furtherance about TB screening. My upfront medical exam paper which was given by PP is dated 17/12/2018. I have submitted my application with that. But then I was asked to give 3 consecutive sputums on 20-21-22/12/2018. Then I was told to wait for the results 3 months and give another chest xray. At the moment my medical status is shown as medicals are reviewing.

I think I will complete medical furtherance on 22/03/2019 at the end of 3 months. So what do you guys think my medical deadline will be? The first day when I went 17/12/2018 or the last day when I cleared 22/03/2019?

I am afraid what I am gonna do if it is 17/12 and I can't get pr till that time. If they want another medical, I will enter same medical furtherance cycle again.

I think it'll be OK regardless, but my guess is they are processing your other items at the same time. I would suggest ordering GCMS after day 75 or so and see if they are processing your other items. You probably could ask IRCC through a CSE at that time as well to determine if they are working on your other items.

Since it will likely take > 90 days for your total immigration process, as long as they are doing other checks at the same time as your medical, it shouldn't affect you if your expiration is 1 year from the original medical.

Wow, I can see why you're concerned, but I hope it doesn't come to that. @USProgrammer beat me to it, but the one year will be counted from the first and earliest set of medicals you took, regardless of any follow-up tests.

Anytime is a good time to order GCMS notes. What is your current status? Please look at my signature or that of @USProgrammer and create one so we can know your profile and make educated guesses.

Yes my username there is ramanbhatti04...I am unable to find a link for my profile there. So you have to find me in DEC aor subtracker under “ramanbhatti04” username. I am already watching you there.

Click "My Cases" and then click your case. It's the same screen that has the "Edit Case" button on it, but don't click that. Just copy the URL at the top.

I just got off the phone with IRCC after waiting on hold for an hour but it was well worth it! Here's what I found out:

Medical: Passed
Criminality: Not yet started
Security: Not yet started
Eligibility: Met
Visa Office: CIO-Sydney, NS

Extensive Travel History (ETH): I wasn't rushed so I decided to talk about my ETH and if that is a good thing or bad. All things being equal, he said it generally lends more confidence to the overall security profile, particularly because it shows I am leaving and reentering certain countries, which implies that I have been abiding by their laws and haven't been stopped at a border or refused a visa for whatever reason. These are the views of a call center agent and not a case officer, I am aware.

The agent was polite and patient, and the conversation was lively; the agent was actually engaging me in conversation!
