Two weeks ago I called CIC and inquired about the status of both my PR application and my TRV application which itself was at the time two weeks past the expected processing time. The agent told me that both are in Security Check. The TRV just got a "ready for visa" passport request, now I'm hoping this means the security check on our PR is also done.

Hey everyone. This was my second PR application after the first one was rejected for a mesely shallow work experience letter. Had a bowp application rejected while in implied status which led me to quit my job in January. IRCC decided to overturn the decision to grant me a work permit in February. Unemployed until May while landing a better job.
Silence and remed until today. I just my interview for next week. This process is over. Thanks all
