Hello Everyone,
I see many people waiting for progress on their citizenship applications, still can someone suggest if I should be concerned based on the timeline below:
App sent: 18 Dec 2017
App received: 20 Dec 2017
AOR: 27 Jan 2018
In process: 9 Mar 2017

Location: Milton ON

Also, are finger prints and Interview needed for all applications?

Here is my status with dates - We are almost on the same timeline [but Vancouver for me] - so hopefully soon for you.

I had to do fingerprints, but my wife did not. Feel you would have been contacted much earlier if you needed to do them - see my date below.

Hi,

Our timeline is similar.
In process since: March 2, 2018
Fingerprint request: April 9, 2018
Done fingerprints: Apr 22, 2018

After that, we haven't heard back anything. Wondering why its taking so much time.

Regarding your question about fingerprints...
Its not required for all the applicants.

Thanks for sharing, yes, the timelines are very similar, I haven't gotten finger print request, waiting for further instructions. Good luck with the test and do update if you also had to do an interview.

Hi all,

What documents should I bring to the interview? Tx
For my interview after the citizenship test, the person asked for the IDs and previous passports but i took all the previous passports, copy of ielts, SIN card, kids school records, COPR and even T4. Usually, they dont ask for any specific documents.

Thanks for your reply, my friend. Hope they wont ask for docs beyond the list.

They will definitely ask for passports and usually a PR card. After that it varies depending on the applicant

If you have visa stamps on your passport with a non-latin script or non-latin date stamps, I'd get an official translation of my passport for those pages as well.
