When was your application actually received by CIC (based on your courier)?

I called CIC last friday to know the status of my sponsorhip and they told me that I was approved and to just wait for the email.
So today I have received my SA and the PR application has been forwarded to Manila for processing.

Can you please share the contact number of CIC and what details i need to provide to know the status of Sponsor application.

Why is CIC working so slow. they work for 6 days a week approx 8 hours per day. then why r they not clearing things fast..

To put it in perspective, CIC granted permanent residency to more than 200,000 people in 2015. Add to that the number of people who were refused, and you get huge stacks of applications that they sift through. They could work 24/7 and there'd still be a wait.

In my case, they first ask when did my application is sent and received by CIC.
After that, they asked for my UCI and application number and some personal info for verification purposes.

After checking the email a few times a day, I finally got my SA email today, and they confirmed that the file has been forwarded to Paris VO.
I'm glad that the first step is completed, now I'm hoping Paris will work as fast as they did until now.

I hope you guys will get your AoR and SA soon as well.

Hmm. Seems a bit odd. Probably not CONCERNED tho. Call Thursday if you still can't.

God the wait for DM is going to literally kill me. When my husband goes back to New York I'm gonna lose it. I still check eCas every day even though I know it'll be months before anything else changes. Auuuugghhhh

So I still can't see all the lines some of you already were able to see on eCas. I assume they are working on it, as today I got my SA, so maybe in a few days they will add something in there for me to check.

Did you get an email for SA or a letter? I was told by the agent yesterday that it'll be an official letter.

Called CIC on Feb 17th to get update on SA, they mentioned its "still in process".
