2 of my friends applications have returned due to the cap reached on 29 Dec.one of them is noc 0113 received on 30 Dec and the other 2171 received on 31 Dec.I called cic as well yesterday and the agent said the 25,000 cap is reached on 29 Dec.So instead of giving useless hope I suggest U apply on EE As soon as possible.By the way I really hope that something good happens and they increase the the 25000 at least and accept all applications till the end of 2014

I am too in the same boat buddy. December 10, 2014 applicant. CC charged on January 31, 2015.

No PER yet. ECAS showing status as "In Process".

Same with me also DEC 15 applicant, no PER , ECAS status ...> IN PROCESS

ECAS MEANS Electronic Client Application Status.

And ecas went live means an individual is able to check his/her status of application online with use of uci no./file number.
And generally it goes live within 3-4 days after receiving per email.

Guys last intimation to the members of december. People who have not received per with the application date from Dec 1 till dec 16 pm me your number so that i can help out. We have a per waiting group also running and definitely that will be of great help.

IS THERE ANY CHANCES TO BE SELECTED OR TO GET PER. BECAUSE IT'S BEEN 78 DAYS GONE AND MY DD IS NOT ENCASHED YET.!!???

Its not a rumour anymore but a fact. Some people here cannot accept the reality and hence giving false hope to others. I suggest you give a call to CIC today. Ask them whether the file is returned or with them.

PER to Processing Started = 61 Days
PER to Medical Request = 76 Days
MR to Passport Request = 45 Days
Passport Sent to Visa Issued = 14 Days

For those who receive the PER on Feb 1, 2015

If PER is 01-02-2015
PER to Processing Started 03-04-2015
PER to Medical Request 18-04-2015
MR to Passport Request 02-06-2015
Passport Sent to Visa Issued 16-06-2015

Avg. Total Processing Time: Rec to Visa = 215 Days (7.1 months)
