Congrats! You are the star of this thread! Hopefully all December applicants will have a fast process, including myself :)

Hahaha oh gosh, a star!? I'm not ready for this, someone get me a mirror! =P
I'm still in shock, I can't believe how fast it went even with a month delay on requested documents. There have been sad and happy tears through this and I'm just so completely happy that the stress is gone. I want everyone to get their PR through so they can experience this; everyone deserves to be with their loved ones unhindered. Now I'm just waiting on my card! Wow!

Hi All,

"Medical results have been received" update on ECAS on 10/03/2014. ;D

Congrats JetPin! Now I'm the one and only without Medical results received... Do I have to worry now?

I know how you feel Axxis91. Even I was at the edge of my seat waiting for some progress on my file and the medical results update is quite a relief.

I am sure you will be hearing from your VO soon and your status will updated.

Remember, each passing day will bring you one day closer to being united with your spouse! :)

Thank you JenPin. Hope for a fast process for all of us and for a quick response from my VO soon...

It's been pretty quiet on the December 2013 applicants thread :(

Yeah, lots of crickets! I wonder who is going to be the next person with great news?? And also when they are going to finally update the VO processing times :o

I think right now everyone is wishing they were Australian :-)

Tell me about it! I think people just settled into the 'long VO wait' now that the excitement of the 1st stage is over.

Yes, that's pretty much it. I'm alternating between hope and desperation. When I heard benjis got his visa I was full of hope that "maybe" I could be so lucky too. But the next minute I remembered my VO is one of the slowest in Europe (we have people in Vienna VO who have been waiting since 2012!!!) and then I go into desperation.

It's a freaking roller-coaster of emotions for me. I ordered my GCSM notes too, I bet they didn't even open my file.

How do you go about ordering your GCSM notes and is there a limit to how often you can order them/do they consider it a nuisance?

I was thinking I should just let it sit in their hands until 10 months or so had passed and there were no updates online.

Here is a video explaining in detail how to order the notes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_E_dq_uLVo
You can go here to order them online (easiest way, costs $5): https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

The person making the request must be the Canadian citizen, or PR ( PR must be present in Canada) on behalf of the applicant. The applicant would have to sign a consent form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf

There is no limit in ordering the notes. Some people order new ones as soon as they receive them (takes 30 days). You can order the notes at any point after your application has reached the VO. It might not say much on there in the beginning (some say to wait 6 months if you want to get your money's worth), but it depends what you are looking to find out from the notes. I, for example, want to know exactly when my app reached the VO (Vienna is infamous for not sending AORs), if the VO has the correct contact details and any extra info that will make me feel better :)
