Anyone know how long it takes from the PPR to the COPR, or the PPR to a status update on the website?

If you look at the Ottawa spreadsheet below, on average it could take between 2 weeks to 2 months to receive COPR once you receive PPR. Sometimes the status changes on the website after you receive the COPR. I wouldn't put to much emphasis on the site being updated reguraly.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AieZfLOxQt2FdDgzNTFmc2E2bjJjVUhGVlhPMEcwbWc#gid=0

Hope this helps.

OK so i got my gcms notes back today

My wife passed as my sponsor, which we already knew only notes on this are they recommend the V/O verify her intentions to return to Canada which we have done stating she is applying for work after completing her studies here by attaching some email records of letter of acknowledgement of applications etc.
medical has been passed.
security and criminality have not yet started.

it states it is "in process" but no date given so i assume this is just a generic term.

one thing that does stand out is a note from someone in London in March listing evidence and our previous marital status, at the end they state "Application and submitted documents reviewed and appear consistent. File to review officer"

has anyone who has ordered notes ever seen this? I am going to interpret it as a positive message from an officer in London.

Hey!

Just got PPR!! Wooohooo! I just an e-mail from CPP-O saying that the interview has been waived and to send them the following:

1. Scanned passport.
2. Hubby's paystub.
3. Hubby's proof of address.

Will be e-mailing everything to them tomorrow morning. How long does it usually take from PPR to Decision Made?
Congrats Dalmita!

Yeah the sponsor and the applicant have separate UCI numbers :)
We only knew the sponsor UCI# until we got ATIP notes requested, and that showed us the applicant UCI#.

Hello looks like we got the PPR request. :) :) Our lawyer received an email from CPC on May30th, but just notified us via email today on June1st.

We had requested ATIP notes, and also had send an email to CPC-Ottawa to update some information on my file on April27th. After waiting 30 calendar days we heard nothing back, and our ECAS continued to only show application received(medicals still not showing as received - if you look at my prior posts we had some issues with medical confirmation letter and update).

Finally on 28th May, I send 2 follow-up emails - one inquiring about ATIP notes not received, and the other about no response on my email inquiry. Voila! within the next 2 days I received the ATIP notes, and my lawyer got the PPR request email.

Wishing all the other December filers best of luck. For Ottawa applicants, looks like another December application is in progress.

By the way the PPR email has the following text -
>>>>>>>>>>>>>
.....In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:
- Copy or scanned image of your valid passport's bio-data page.
- $490.00 Right of Permanent Residence fee in Canada (instructions will be e-mailed this date).

Changes to your Family Composition:
· Have you married or divorced?
· Have you given birth or adopted a child?
· Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Has your sponsor withdrawn his or her sponsorship of your application?

If any of these conditions apply, you must inform CPC-O immediately. You will be asked to submit evidence such as a copy of the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption certificate or a letter advising when and where the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption is expected to take place. Any new spouse and/or children must be added to your application and be found admissible to Canada before your case is finalized. Failure to declare additional dependants such as a spouse or children before you become a permanent resident could result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa. Once your file is closed, you would be required to submit a new application and pay new processing fees. Any new application would be assessed under the Act and Regulations in force at the time of its submission.

QUESTION - We have been blessed with birth of our second child last week as well, and we plan to send the copy of birth certificate as soon as we get it(along with PPR request response). For our first child we had applied for 'Canadian Citizenship Certificate' which took about 6 months to come. Now I am wondering, here my COPR is hopefully only a few weeks away, but will we have to again wait 6 months to receive Canadian certificate for our second child?
Since CPC, in email above mentions about new children being added to your application before case being finalized, will they handle our new child's citizenship certificate as well, or we will still have to apply separately for it?

Thank you in advance...

Hello guys I also am one of the december candidates, we gave received the acknowledgement letter back in February already, but to now the exams says only cic received your application for permanent R on and nothing else, just getting a bit worried, file is in Pretoria visa office, I see that patientlywaitingspousal has already received her passport request....

Thanks for your insights
HI there HELP2012... we haven't been asked for my husband's passport yet BUT we did get news today that his "medicals were received"... I know the processing time is 21 crazy long months but I'm really hoping our application is processed much sooner... especially because I noticed that others who applied through Rome and New Delhi have been asked for their passport already and the processing time for those offices is 13 months! This lady is super hopeful ;D

Millertimez - can you please update the Dec spreadsheet with our medicals received as of June 2, 2014. Thank you!

Sending tons of positive vibes towards everyone who is still patiently waiting and to those who are finally being reunited with loved ones <3

Hi to my fellow Manila VO applicants! I saw on the Manila VO thread that 2 November applicants got their PPR already. A big hope for us! :) Their happiness is contagious. That really got me in a good mood today.

So happy to see more than 1 VO getting their act together. It's just a matter of time for the others!
