my file is being processed at Ottawa processing pilot, when i applied i was in syria, but now am in Thailand, i emaild them updating my adress, and they confirmed updating it

Ottawa currently has a processing time of 14 months I believe. Take a look at the Ottawa thread. Someone there might be able to help or have comparable timelines. Or check out the spreadsheet to get an idea how things are going.

yes i know it's 14 months since receiving the application 31 dec,but as i said the status now In Process since march 7,and i've heard that they request the passport when they start processing but they didn't with me,that's why

I am not sure that they will request it. I have heard that Ottawa just does the file then sends it to the VO of the applicants home country. I might be wrong, but that is the experience from others on here who had their files sent to Ottawa.

yup you are right about that,but i was in syria when i submitted the application,and now i'm in Thailand,i've informed them about the change in the address but i don't know if they will consider that

If the visa office is Syria then your PPR and or interview will be sent or held there. I do not think you going elsewhere changes that.

i think you are right about that,thanks for replying,the thing is Canadian embassy in syria closed long time because of the security situation at the country,guess then i had to do it in Lebanon

I am sure they will advise you of where to send it in that case. If you are concerned you can send Ottawa a CSE.

I was just wondering if the spreadsheet can be updated for me/us. I/we got an e-mail (reply for one I/we sent) from our VO so I assume the file is there and would like to say that is stage 2 AOR. Maybe it doesn't count?? Not sure but I wouldn't mind staring at a new color....

Can I get the spreadsheet updated as well, our app went into stage 2 "in process" on March 28.
