Great news this morning ! I received confirmation that my wife's passport and visa is ready for pickup. Now the process is officially over.

Dec.3/2012 I sent my application to Mississauga with UPS and it was received dec.4 I was approved as a sponsor on dec.12/2012 and they sent my wife's application to tel aviv. She was asked to send in her passport on feb.6/2013 and she sent it to tel aviv on feb.18 and her passport was ready with visa for pick up on march 6 but no one phoned her to pick it up because for some reason they had the wrong phone number. I sent an e mail asking about the status of the passport and that's how I knew it was ready so I told my wife to pick up her passport and she picked it up march 20.

It varies from VO . CPP-O seems to be slowest one ... When I got my GCMS notes , it seems they never touched my application. It's just in the queue to be assigned.

They've forwarded out approved stuff to Vienna on Feb 25. Now just 9 more long months to go before they process it there... :-X

Indeed. Our apps are probably still sitting in the boxes they came in from Mississauga.

No word from any of our VO
Hopefully things will start picking up

We've probably all got a bit of a wait since movement is just starting to happen for the augury/September applicants

For CPP-O, I was predicting it to be the middle of May, early June before mine was opened

I'm estimating that all will be said and done by October/November....but that's me being super hopeful

I still don't even know the exact location of our file, or where it will be processed. There are so many agents willing to give any answer just to end the call. Bought and paid for services normally have some way to follow or track. Ecas is entirely useless. (yet I check it regularly)

Anyhoo...just my mid morning thoughts. They tend to get more depressing as the day goes, so I wont share later.

We just checked my wife's ecas and found out they started processing her app on March 28, hope it's a good sign for a speedy approval!

Yes, the sponsor approval came in and said it would be transferred to my husbands local office. Then I heard various things regarding applications being done at the pilot office(Ottawa). I have since been told 4 different things, and still not received stage 2 AOR (which from either office is unreliable to receive from what I have heard) so the reality is I have no clue.
