I am happy to say my husband received AOR today by email with UCI and application nos. Application was received by CPC-M on Dec. 3. Awaiting important decision re approval! Will keep it positive and hope it will go quickly as per my wish! So one thing crossed off the list!!!

I haven't paid the RPRF yet, but will do it this week. Actually I missed to fill in that box when I paid online...

So, since I've already got an approval of the sponsorship and a file number, do I have to send the payment directly to my visa office in London or can I pay it online via CIC webpage? Don't want to cause any delays. Thought all my confusions about the application was done, but I guess not! Wish I would have paid it directly, grrr!

you can't pay to London VO. what you do: pay online through CIC, then send the copy of the receipt to CIC-Mississauga and a copy to London VO (through a case specific enquiry on their webpage), you can attach a document so scan the receipt, and inform them that you have sent the receipt to Mississauga.

Anyway, thanks for sorting that out. I got confused because I read payment information for Scandinavians on visa office London's webpage, and it said something about paying to Barclays Bank. Well, well, now the fee is paid online!

To receive it - it really depends on where you post it from. When did you post your application, did you get a tracking number confirming that it has arrived in Mississauga? If your application was received in Mississauga before 2nd of November then call them to hear what is going on with your application. If your application was received in Mississauga after the 2nd of November, then wait... until you hear from them.

Application sent (well today 16/12 then!), application received ( not yet?), which visa office will you be going through (after the mississauga stage), and when did you do your medicals?

Looks like the rest of us missed the quick processing window.. Still no AOR or Sponsorship approval notice. I doubt we will see anything until the new year now.
