Thanks :)

What is the third amount of $490 for?

Sponsorship application (per application) - $75
Principal applicant - $475
Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490

I paid for
- Sponsorship application (per application) - $75
- Principal applicant - $475
- Open Work Permit - $150

But I did not pay for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490 just yet. Hope it is ok ::)

That's fine, you'll just have a month or two of a delay that's all.

Oh dear!!!

One more question. Do everyone got open work permit after they sent with PR application? Or it depends on the CIC?

Because you're applying inland, once you get stage one done, they will then process your work permit and second stage. But the work permit (usually) is done before you get second stage done :)

Question:

We never applied for the open work permit for my wife, as she is currently a full-time mom. What will it take to get an open work permit at a later date?

Open work permit is only for inland applicant, so you can not apply for it, you will have to wait until the end of the PR process for your wife to be able to work, unless she finds a company willing to give her a LMO and do the work permit process for her.
Good luck,
Sweden

OMG I finally got it done and sent off today. Will be there tomorrow. Feels like a mountain off me shoulders. The only thing I am worried about is I didn't pay the Right of Residence yet. Was going to pay after Christmas.

Thank you parker24!

For those who applied for open work permet, everybody will get it or not? Or do somebody don't get it? I just want to work as soon as possible as I've been living here more than a year without work now :(

I am happy to say my husband received AOR today by email with UCI and application nos. Application was received by CPC-M on Dec. 3. Awaiting important decision re approval! Will keep it positive and hope it will go quickly as per my wish! So one thing crossed off the list!!!

Congrats! :-) I'll update the spreadsheet (fromadistance is away for a few days so I'll update but if I don't see something just send me a message). Approval should be around the corner now! ;-)
Good luck,
Sweden

For the RPRF - you can pay it later. Wait until you have the first stage completed, and you will have a file number etc. Then once your file gets transferred to a local CIC office for second stage, pay the fee, and send the proof to the CIC office. Don't do it before you have a file number ( so likely 6 months for you as you are applying inland), otherwise they won't be able to match it with your file.

For the Open work permit - I'm not too familiar with the Inland process, try and ask in the Inland thread, but by looking at the spreadsheet, pretty much everybody who asked for it got it... or so it seems...
Good luck,
Sweden

I haven't paid the RPRF yet, but will do it this week. Actually I missed to fill in that box when I paid online...

So, since I've already got an approval of the sponsorship and a file number, do I have to send the payment directly to my visa office in London or can I pay it online via CIC webpage? Don't want to cause any delays. Thought all my confusions about the application was done, but I guess not! Wish I would have paid it directly, grrr!

Hopefully without sounding ignorant , whats an AOR ? I am thinking it is a response from the CIC stating they have received your application?

It is, but I have heard some people get those 6 to 8 weeks AFTER they have been notified their sponsorship application has been approved.. sort of backwards, but what can you do.
