Hi, I have submitted file for PR in Dec 2012 and in Feb 2013 received file number. Currently I am not WP which is expiring in Feb 2014.

Should I apply for WP renewal as being asked by my company or wait for PR status for 2 more months.

Also did anyone receive any update for files submitted in Dec 2012.

I am working with a company and they apply WPs for us. So should I ask them to apply for BOWP for me.

Also can I call and ask for PR status?

Should I apply for CAIPS as I applied for PR from within Canada.

While submitting GCMS, it asks for address. I have applied my PR through a representative, so should I mention their address?

It's not even a question. Apply for BOWP, you will get your WP and be free of worries for a year regardless of future strikes/delays by CIC.

I wouldn't even ask them to apply for me. Unless your company is up to date with all your info.(which is rare)
I work for nationwide Canadian company, and they tried to apply extension AFTER the day my previous workpermit expired. Plus, they delayed LMO by more than 1 mo unnecessarily, which caused a huge delay. (Yes, they outsourced legal stuff to lawyers in Ontario, and they even put the wrong citizenship in my LMO)
My workpermit expires in FEb 2014, too, but I'm applying on my own to make sure they're done on time. I can't risk my status for $150.
