Hi,

I had filed my case under NOC 1111 on 30th sep, 2009. Its in process. I am called for an interview on 29th July 2010. I need to know what can they ask in the interview. I had previous work experience with a CA as an accountant on a parttime basis from Sep 2002 through May 2006. I had provided that referrence letter to the VO. I was paid in cash, so i do not have salary slips, etc. CA did not provide me anything but he has mentioned on the letter head that i was being paid so and so salary. I will try to obtain a new referrence letter stating that i was paid in cash but would that help. This is just assumption that the VO may have doubt on but still i am concerned about it. Also, they did not call me or that prevoious employer for inquiry even. I would need your kind suggestions as to what may they ask in the interview and in the absence of any salary slips, etc how can i convince them. I have Income tax returns for that period but it does not show the job description in it. Please advise.

I think, in this scenario, you should better get CAIPS, which may give you clear indication that why they are calling you for interview.

For your reference visit: http://www.caips.ca/
There are many sites like this, just google it.

Dear Shreshta,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have already applied for CAIPS on the 10th of June. Hope to get them before the interview.
