Hi,

Is the Number of Days Spent in USA counted as Half Day against the Residency ? Or it's still considered as Foreign Visit (Outside Canada) ?

Its foreign visit and does not count towards citizenship residency requirements.

It does not count as a half a day. If your trip to us lasts one day only and you come back to Canada the same day before midnight then it doesn't count at all as an absence but if it is 2 , 3 days or more then count the number of days and you need to mention it in the residence calculator

Goldline is right. In the citizenship residence calculation, leaving the country and being back in the same day will count as 0-day absence, only being back on the 2nd day will count as 1-day absence.

While there is little different in PR residence calculation, leaving on one day and being back on the 2nd day will also count as 0-day absence for PR.
