date of Birth incorrect on birth certificate

I have all the documents to apply file under CEC except my husband's birth certificate
He do have birth certificate but the birth date do not match with passport and other documents
ANY suggestion ?

What's the reason for the discrepancy between the dates?

I am not sure... but he never used/checked his birth certificate before for any purpose

Get the affidavit( notarized one ) done based on secondary school certificates having either parents ( mother/father) name mentioned if one doesn't have original birth certificate. My application got returned last year due to birth certificate provided via consulate. CIC letter instructed they do not accept birth certificate from consulate rather they will accept notarized affidavit based on secondary school certificates. Thanks

Hi seniors, I´m not sure about the birth certificate. Original is not in english..Do I have to send to CEC certificated copy in my language and certificated translated original? Or just the second one? Thank you for your help!

Get the certificate translated and attach along with affidavit. if you are in Mississauga( GTA) you can get this done free in weeks time. THey will do both affidavit and transalation( with attestation). Send both original( photocopy) & translated copy along wid affidavit.

I have got my AINP last week and now I am preparing my PR documents and I have realized that DOB on my passport and on other documents( 17th March 1987) is different from my Birth certificate(17th July 1987) one my friend went to the municipality office with my passport copy and other id's but they rejected to make any changes and they told us that you can do this via lawyer but it will take 6 months but my AINP nomination is expiring on January 15th, 2016. I do not have that much time to wait. What should I do now?

I have following documents with my 17th March 1987-
1- secondary school marksheet (10th SSC) which shows my full name on it and DOB
2- School leaving certificate with DOB and my parent's full name
3- Affidavit( notarized- oath from my mother) which shows my DOB.

Please guide me.
