Date for online form submission

Hi there.

I would just like clarification. I know that for only application there is no need to sign the page as at the end of it, it will get digitally signed. What about the date though? Should I put a date on it or will the system automatically fill in the date at the time the digital signature was attached?

I would be grateful for any help that I can get. I tried looking but couldn't find answer to something as trivial as this. Forgive me.
