I send Damascus emal long time but never get back to me, my wife also talked to PM and he said they send email to damascus but no answer too.

how long they take to answer email?

Yes , I have sent them an email 3 weeks ago to notify them that I am going back to Iran and reminded them regarding to the expiry of my wife's medical , but they never replied to that e-mail.

Damascus visa office recieved our application in December 2010 since then i have not recieved the residenncy questionnaire nor any updates is that normal? cause i noticed people recieve RQ or documetation rquest approximately after one month after the process begines.

hi.my husband called them last week and asked them about the situation in damascus but they told him they couldn't answer to this question because of national security just said we hope nothing happen..
in other hand i hope so our case will proccess faster becuase of the situation

my uncle also applied for montreal and his lawer told him recently that the embassy sent him a paper for confirmation their relationship!
the paper was in french and his wife had to sign it..!!have u had the same process?

Hi NH welcome to our thread Damascus started processing my file end of november and I received he REsidency questionnaire 2 months later (end of Jan) so don't worry about it.. And they might not send it to you it's just a waste of time anyway it's a single page with questions you've already answered. Which province is your husband in?

Look at the population of India, I'm sure New Delhi has thousands of applications to process I don't understand how it is so easy for them to finish after 4-5 months while it's taking us 10 months????

1:updated police certificate
2:renewal of medical
3ayment for authorisation to return application as i was once deported (long story )eheheheh.

finally something from the embassy and i know this is the last step so hopefully the next step is passport request. wish the best for all of you .
