i am sorry but its not allowing me to msg u back, anyway i was deported from canada in feb 2010 due to refugee claim denial, and the sponsorship was submitted b4 i got deported, to make the story short they called me to redo the medical beginning of jan 2012, and then asked for the ARC letter and fee in April 2012, and till today its still quite.... so how long did it take ur husband to get the arc and how much longer did it take to get his visa after the ARC approval... and if u dont mind sending me ur email so i can communicate with u through that, bec this is confusing lol

Hey guys, I know this question is not intended for this thread, but appreciate your help/hint. My mother-in-law is applying for super visa through Ankara, do you know what's the safe way to make the application fee, either through iran or canada (that I can make the payment on her behalf) or even possibly online?!
on the website it says:

Applicants for Canadian visas and immigration documents should use our direct bank deposit system to pay their visa processing fees.

Payments can be made to Cankaya/Ankara branch, account No: 181 - 9091287 CAD (IBAN: TR35 0006 2000 1810 0009 0912 87) at any branch of Garanti Bank in Turkey. Upon payment of the appropriate fee in Canadian dollars, applicants will receive a Garanti Bank receipt. The original receipt must then be attached to a completed application form before submitting it to the Embassy for processing.

Please note that the Embassy does not accept cash payments. Immigration fees may be paid by certified cheque or bank draft, in Canadian dollars, in favour of the Receiver General for Canada.

If your bank is transferring the fee payment electronically to the Canadian Embassy Garanti Bank account, please ensure that the amount transferred will not be reduced by bank transfer charges. Your application will not be processed until the correct fee is received in full in our Embassy account.

khob,,man kam kam az in yek chizaee sar dar avordam...safheye akhare yek note gozashteh ke officer is satisfied that our relationship is geniune..which is a good news...the medical is exoired,,,but in the last page it says "Med-Ext Med Rqsted-Paris" and then in the next paragraph it says: App. Statues: Open/ Location: Med-Pending Meds Only"

I am a bit confused...are they themselves requesting for extension from Paris or from us, bc we haven't received any email....

Shall I contact them?

Arsha there is a thread in this forum for decoding GCMS. People are discussing these stuff there. You might wanna ask them about this, I'm sure they are able to help you since there is no information about this on CIC.

no kazhal unfortunately not yet, i believe they don't. I'm thinking going 2 visit my wife and parents in Iran for Christmas. i have 1 week holiday and i can take 8 days as vacation so overall it would be around 18-20 days. if the f.k officers don't do their job, at least i do something myself.

Alish, i send it on October 15 by email and received it last night., so it took them 3 weeks exactly.
