the embassy called my husband on his cell phone and asked him to come tomorrow to pick up the visa

my husband received a phone call today morning from the Canadian Embassy in Damascus and not from Canadian embassy in Jordan.

is he in Jordan now, they should give him more time, is it just tomorrow, but if it is difficlut to be there tomorrow because the setuation in syria, did they give him more time? month or less?

the lady that called my husband today from Canadian Embassy in Damascus, told him to be in the embassy tomorrow at 9 am and they will do their best to give him his visa the same day, in the letter we received for PPR it says ( passports must be received at our embassy in Damascus no later than 15 days from the date of this letter)
and it also sayس that passports may be submitted Sunday to Tuesday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. you will not be able to collect your passports/visas the same day. passports can only be collected the next day at 2:30 pm.

so I guess the lady that talked to my husband today made an exception because she asked my husband to come Tomorrow ( Wednesday) and she will do her best to stamp his visa in the same day . I think she wanted to get rid of us because we kept on sending them e-mails looool

btw the situation is safe in Damascus, so don`t worry .

Since you said they asked him to go pick his visa tomorrow then i would say he got the call from Amman office and he is going to Amman not Damascus right !
