Hi mr bou,

My file was receive in missisauge on november 10, 2010. My file was transfer to damascus since december 15. I receive the paper request on september 20, 2011. I send docs on september 23. After a few days I sent them a e-mail the verify if they receive the docs. They told me yes and told my wife to redo medical coz the last one is expire.

I think that all december and january people will receive the ppr before january 2012. i wish that my wife will be in montreal before the end of november nshallah.
i think as soon they ask for medical exams they issue a visa, thats given the results are available with the embassy.
did you ask for the tracking code when you did your test?

allah yesma3 menak ya rab = god hear from your lips

you dont need international drving licence, you only need to translate the lebanese one (offcially) and you have 90 days to drive with it or till u get ur canadian Driving licence.
That what we did.

No my wife do not ask for the tracking code but the doctor told her that in about one week damascus will have the result. I think too that when they ask to redo exam after a few week they give visa as nagz and ali.

Have you sent them an email at all? Or contacted your MP office (not that they're much help though...)? Since I can see in the chart that all of the November applications have finished. Although on the website it says 13 months, so you're still within the timeline. What I would do is try emailing the embassy. If you don't get a reply within a week, try contacting your local MP office. I know the MP isn't much help, but sometimes they can tell you if anything is missing, or if the embassy will ask for something soon. My MP told me one month ahead of time that they will be asking for an updated police check and sending the RQ. So that was helpful. You can try it and see what they say...inshallah good news!

My MP just called me and said she received an update from Damascus. The file was received January 18, and it is in queue . I like that, as if I dont know this...Seriously, they need to do something about this lengthy process.
