I was wondering if the Embassy will sen our original "marriage certificate" back to us? Maybe after issuing a visa or do we have to request it?

Good morning everyone

My husband's medicals expire Nov. 9th, so he will be redoing them this Friday, Nov. 4th. I know that the doctor sends the results and then we get a paper that we have to send in to Damascus. Do you think we should just wait for them to ask for it before we send it? Or should we just send it right away? I know it will only take about a day to get from Lebanon to Syria. And the doctor had said that the results he will send will take about a week to get to Paris and then another week or so to get to Syria. What do you guys think? Send them our paper before they ask or wait till they ask for it?

It was one of the ones on the list CIC has on their website for registered doctors you can go to. If this is your second medical, keep the green paper the doctor will give you. My question is asking whether to send that green paper before or after they ask you for updated medicals, but you keep the green paper don't send it to your wife in Canada.

However if this is your first medical, send it to your wife in Canada so she can include it in the application package.

they gave us back our pictures.. but i don't think you should've sent your original marriage certificate... in all the correspondance i got from them they kept repeating send the original CERTIFIED translation not the original document
