2 weeks ago my MP MR david macckanty office called my brother in law telling him that they have new news from the canadian embbasy in damascuss and they said the file is in que and everything is OK also they myabe ask for new medical tests .

I send the canadian embassy e-mail 2 weeks ago but no answer :

when my mp told me everything is fine beginning of September she said just wait they will ask for new medicals soon and they did 3 weeks later. so I suggest you just wait there's nothing else you can do at this point.

member of parliament... each municipality has one, the represent the government in your district. you have to look up who's yours. i think if you haven't heard anything by let's say 9 months you should contact them

her husband got deported but i dont know why

Whaaaaaaat? 15 mths!!!! my husband was deported....... I pray we don't have to wait 15 mths! I'm already going crazy at 6! And our poor kids are cring for him every night The immigration officer we dealt with here told us he would be back between 6 - 12 mths.... I think she lied! They confuse me because in June they sent us a letter saying "in order to conclude the file we need the final right of permanent residence fee..." when they said conclude I thought they meant conclude

We had someone else on here who had been deported and needed ARC to return to Canada, I believe his file concluded in less than 12 .... No rhyme or reason to this CrAzY process!

Dont worry....most of us been waiting 9+ months and we dont have complicated application. Getting worried will not solve the problem. All we can do is wait.

Getting worried doesn't solve everything.... hard not to worry some days though lol. either way the wait is long so really 9, 10, 11, 15 mths whats the difference lol Have a great wkend everyone and good luck next wk

They still haven't replied to my email that I sent to them 2 months ago. I've given up trying to email them. Waiting is pretty much all that I can suggest...

I also wanted to ask about interviews. I've noticed that there are not many posts about interviews? Has anyone had his/her spouse go through the interview? If yes, how many months after you received the RQ? I'm just curious, as this stage might be coming up soon for my husband.
