hey guys all these talking about medical really inspired me.
does the medical expire after one year from the day i've done it? or after one year from the day they receive it? i think it's the first option. but just to make sure, coz u all seem to have ur medical expires : and not me.
in fact i did them in november the month when we sent the file to Mississaugua. maybe u guys did it much before...?

nath its one year from the day you physically went in to do your medical.. hopefully u wont have to re do yours ..

In the questionnaire about spousal sponsorship i wrote : I think the most important should be assisting families and reuniting them together. I've been sponsoring my husband to come to Canada since November 2010 and here I am still waiting at the same spot where I started. Our file is not missing any information we sent them everything they asked for plus some and here we are.. Still waiting. This proccess honestly is so heartbreaking. Imagine being away from the one you love for so long and not knowing for how long... Story of my life ! Thanks for reading.

Hi nath18,
I dont know if the following could be helpful for you :

When I check the status of my wife's application using the immigration file's number, her name, her place and date of birth, I get the same thing as you : Nous avons recu votre dossier le ...
While, recently I checked the status using the number of my permanent resident card, my name, the date and the place of my birth, and by this way I get the starting time of file processing which is 11 of january.
If you didnt try yet this method it could be usuful in your case
