great! i saw him 3 months ago! i came to canada to start this sponsorship process just a few days after my wedding, which was horrible
you guys have filled that residency questionnaire and you have hope that you might be able to come back to canada with your loved ones, but if i leave right now i'm worried to receive that RQ while i'm there and make things complicated about why i'm not residing in canada at that moment. most important i don't think i can say another goodbye to my husband in the airport, i will die

Hi romeo lulu PP request. Means passport request, when they call you to submit your passport for the visa.. I 'm guessing you're almost done inchallah!!!

Thank you Vivi, same for you inshallah !! Im going on the 4th of July and coming back on August 2nd.. His medical expires around august 15 or something.. so I really hope he will get it 2-3 weeks before expiry inshallah ! :-*

I just checked E-CAS right now.. and welllllllll it looks like they started processing our file earlier than I thought...

We received your application to sponsor **************** on November 12, 2010.

We started processing your application on December 7, 2010.

I guess the date for my processing is december 7th.. woohoooo !! hahahah 14 days difference lol

It's weird tho cause the letter they sent us I think it said 21st.. haha oh well !! So the 7th it is !! ;D

Dear geminibella,
just wanted to make some points clear.
when you log in to E-CAS with the sponsor's information using your client ID number, and when you click on where it says (sponsorship application status) and right under it you see (decision made), the information that you had is related to Mississauga part not to Damascus part, but when you click on( Permanent residence application status) and right under it it says (Application received) this information is related to Damascus .

so mine says,
Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor *********** on November 2, 2010.

We started processing your application on November 29, 2010.

We sent you a letter on November 29, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

For me, On November 29 they transferred my application to Damascus- Syria , but that does not mean that they started processing my file in Damascus on Nov 29.

and when I click on (Application received) they wrote,

Permanent Residence
We received *************** application for permanent residence on December 6, 2010.
this is when they started processing my file in Damascus on Dec 6, 2010
