medi i think if you order the notes you will get a piece of mind...any news is good news from cic...
I have a lawyer , i think he should apply for that, because he is representative of me , I made a mistake for getting the lawyer, they are useless. But as I found this document GCMS , can not helpfull for speed up the process. ?!!!! is it right?

its not helpful in speeding up the process but atleast you will know what the officer thinks of your case's geniality and also what is happening at the moment...so id suggest have ur lawyer order it for you...

thanks for your post vivi...it makes sense...because on the gcms notes for the security screening it is obvious there are notes there but they have been covered up...i sent an email to the person who sent us the notes and asked him why we cant see the info about the security screening...but i guess you answered my question...so im presuming that we are in process...thank you again:)

You're welcome Niloo jan. :) And if you look at the email they sent you with the notes, what I said is mentioned in it ;)

Kazhal joon, I'm not sure if we can contact CSIS or how to contact them :( I know, my patience has ran out too, I am so tired of all this, seems like an endless nightmare ...
This will not take forever Kazhal joon, there is the light at the end of the tunnel, we are sooooo close :)
Thanks sweetie, you take care too

No, for ordering GCMS notes there is no need for your lawyer to do that. You can do that all by your own.

According to section 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act, information about security screening is exempt from showing in GCMS notes. Meaning from GCMS notes you will not find out about what is been checked in your security or how deep it is or what information they are looking into. Even CIC does not know the details of the security section, the agency responsible for security check is CSIS which will just send the result of clearance to CIC in 2 words: clear or not clear, and CIC will continue processing/finalizing the application after their response.

ur very true, i say that because i was in this god damn CSIS process for my own clearance to become PR.

absolutely doesn't speed up the process, they do their job and they don't give a damn about anything else.

i did phone and send a letter to CSIS few yrs ago for my own case but they helped me a lot in terms of speeding the security check but that was wayyyyy different case than what we are talking about right now. at that time i was in Calgary and phoning them every few weeks but now they deal with thousands of applicants like our spouses' file. so be sure they don't give a damn about receiving phone call lol.
