Hi does anyone know where I can order the GCSM notes?

Hi!
You can print off the two forms from the CIC website....

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

And

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

The first form explains how to order them, but if you have questions there are enough of us that have ordered them we can help;)

You're very welcome:) I ordered my first set around that time too. They are only 5 dollars so it's pretty cheap to get a little piece of mind on what's happening on your file. It doesn't hurt to order them...

When u send the package in to order them you should send the following..
-the two firms filled out ( IMM 5475 must be signed by the applicant not the sponsor)
- $5 cheque/money order or receipt from online payment
- photocopy of proof of citizenship/PR of person ordering the notes.

Hope that helps;) let me know if u need any help filling out (make sure to check off electronic files, NOT physical file as that will affect processing times.) It should explain all this on the instructions but let me know if u need any help;)

For section B what do I put as the location and also do I include theClient Id number I was given as well in that section that I was given. And on his form the name of office would be the Mississauga branch cause that is where u was submitted. Is that correct?

It's all the notes on your file. Used to be called CAIPS but are now called GCSM. Can't remember what it stands for...

thanks A+M, i remember some of people here in this forum used 2 say CAIPS and i never did it. im not sure if it shows the file is completed or not and if not what things are needed in order 2 be completed.

On the GCSM notes when it asks for immigration consultants of canada regulatory council number what do I write here. I do have a lawyer in place for my case so I am confused should I leave it blank?

hey A+M, on the first link that has 3 section A,B,C does the applicant or sponsor have to fill it out? also on section A I have to say No right?
on the second link does the applicant or sponsor have to fill it out? I think the sponsor should do it and #5and 6 is for the applicant. is that right?
Thanks

The sponsor can fill it out. You are the sponsor right?? If you are the sponsor then check "no" because u are requesting it on your spouse's behalf... So no not on your own behalf.
Section B is the applicant's info and section C is you (the sponsor's info... "requester's info".)
The second link should be filled out by the applicant. That form is the applicant giving the sponsor permission to request the info. The sponsor will be who they list as the designated individual. So applicant info in steps 1-4 and sponsor's info. In steps 5,6 the. Signed/dated by the applicant.
I hope I explained that ok.... Let me know if I confused you more!!;)

Guys, even though A+M kindly covered almost all of it here, the following link seems to explain CAIPS (our cases) and FOSS (cases processed in Canada) :

thanks for ur answers. yes i'm the sponsor. i have 3 more Qs:
for #3 where it says: name of the office where the application was submitted, do we have to say: Mississauga or Damascus or Ankara?
For the Location of office, do we have to write Toronto,Syria or Ankara?
Also do you think is better to mail the documents or just scan it and email it?

Yes... U can order them as much as u want. They record it on your file when u do order them. (my second set of notes mentioned when I ordered them the first time). I hope u get some helpful info on your file:) any news/info is definitely good news;)
Just sent u the codes too:)

thank you so much for the codes...although i must admit even with having them they still seem a little confusing...gic will recieve them this week...but i sent them to the adress on the bottom of the form...i guess they will have to forward them to ankara...lets see if this will help...all this waiting is making me sick to my stomach:)

#3 confused me too when I ordered mine but I listed both Mississauga and the VO. In my case I wrote submitted to Mississauga and for location I wrote Damascus/Ankara. I got my notes so it must have been enough for them to figured it out;) I mailed it in both times I ordered but if it's easier for you to scan and email then I'm sure that works just as well. That way you wouldn't have to pay to mail them too!
