I was really hoping to hear some good news from Beirut embassy this week !!!!!!

Last week My wife's MP told her we have to wait till fall. yesterday someone from his office contacted her again and told her that they are working on the refugee cases from Syria and they stopped working on the spousal cases!!!!!!!!

Can any one please check with his/her MP and see if what they are saying is true???????

hi Leb_Can ,I heard this (transferring most of refugees files who are living in Syria to Beirut VO) since 2 months ago, and they advised the refugees who lived in Syria to contact Beirut VO to follow their files status,but,there is refugees in Amman and Ankara too and these visa offices are also involved in dealing with refugees files, I think refugees files have the priority because Canada are competing with USA and Europa to be the first in human rights and helping refugees and wars victims and signed treaty for refugees settlement in Canada,,,the glowing and Polished image of Canada as The main sponsor of human rights and humanitarian is more important than spouses<<<<< may be are fraud marriage<<<this is the big excuse of delay our visas.

yeah but like you say nenan all the 3 vo work on refuge files. So, I dont think its true that they work ONLY on refuge files and put away others files. Some workers work on familly class some other on refugee and some on workers category. Just tell how people from the 3 vo got ppr if they work only on refugee files!!!

yes you absolutely right Some workers work on familly class some other on refugee and some on workers category,I didn't say they work only on refugees files,I said the priority for refugees , some refugees get ppr within 6 months and some within 12 some unlucky wait for 2 years,but in general they have the priority .

I read about transferring refugees files of Damascus VO to Beirut VO from refugees website,and about the priority for refugees.....I read it in CIC website they say Canada goal is the settlement 20 thousands refugees in Canada till the end of 2013.

I know I just put unreliable information,I interpret the situation based on the governmental Canadian media which support the refugees programs and human rights ,when our files were in Damascus VO on February and CIC website release the news of DAMASCUS VO closure ,we read the there is 300 visas for refugees are ready and finished,while the family class sponsorship was frozen .

the negative theory is unwanted and not work ,the positive theory is wanted and also not work,we all here try to interpret the cloudy situation ,I try to be positive but I don't ignore the events and the news and its impact on the processing time ,A year ago from now, who will believe that the war in Syria would destroy our lives.

Yeah I am leaving for Lebanon tmr . Serouisly the situation is ok now. I know that few days ago its was not good but now its ok. The most important is that I visit my wife and we spend good time together.

Hi fellows,

Just wanted to say that I received my visa a few hours ago.
Inshallah all of u will get rid of this waiting nightmare soon. For Ankara applicants, I have to say it was quite crowded and there were many applicants receiving their visas, so stay strong and keep ur morale high!
