Cheers to all my Iranian friends as well as others their cases are stocked in Ankara!

I got married on Feb 2011, apply to get sponsored for my wife, received a notification about the approval of my sponsorship on June 2011 and the latest update that I retrieving from CIC website every other day is that they received application for permanent residence on July 4, 2011. I sent them couple of emails in order to be assured that the case is in Ankara and they did not bother them-self to even reply to my messages :'(

Just wondering any of you fellows have a case sometimes around mine and received any update or in better case a good news ?

I did not see my wife for a long time and you guys know better than others how cruel it is!

Your case sounds similar to most of us.... Long waits with no news and much too long without our loved ones! We have a few members from June and 1 from July who have received PPR, but also many waiting from Feb, March, April. Ankara seems to be working hard and we are all hoping to hear news soon! Ecas has been mostly unreliable and getting an email back is rare! The only thing we can do is "be patient". A phrase most of us have come to dislike a lot!!! Good luck

my timeline is exactly like yours (application received on July 4, 2011). there was no update except "medical result received" after 2nd medical test.

Have you done your second medical? The first one must be close to expiring? A few of us only had that line added after we did the second medical. Many of us have redone medical without being asked by the VO yo redo it, it seems to save time.

Not yet, but just asked my wife to redo the medical test as well as the security check.

Perfect... Hopefully that saves you time it took about 1 month after my husband redid medicals for the "medical results received" line to appear on ecas.

i noticed your file was sent to damascus exactly the same day as mine. and you have no news so far either. are you iranian? have you received any updats so far during these past 15.5 months from any embassies?

4 days from now is going to be our 2nd year anniversary celebrated apart :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( and still waiting without having any clues on our file..someone please tell me how much longer do i need to wait??
