Currently in Work Permit..how will Express affect my case

Dear Friends

I arrived in Canada through intra-company transfer in March 2014 and have been working in managerial role since then.

My plan was to apply under CEC after completing one year work exp and apply for PR. Since my profession was in demand list(Engineering Manager),I was told that PR should take 6-7 months.

With the launch of Express PR now..how does my case get affected.

Yea that's gonna make things a little harder for LMO-exempted temp workers who are already in Canada.

Now you would need to create a profile in EE and compete with others in the EE pool.
You will need to apply for LMIA if you wish to take extra 600 points (which almost certainly takes you to the top of the list).

As you don't have 1 year Canadian experiences now, you can't get into the pool. But you can start gathering documents like language exam, education credential etc.
